Nutritional Therapy Consultations

Your individual nutritional therapy package may involve any or all of these steps:

  • health questionnaire and assessment
  • laboratory testing
  • explanations and guidance
  • diet and lifestyle planning
  • shopping know-how, personal menu planning, bespoke recipes, cooking tips, store cupboard planning, meal preparation
  • supplements

Understanding your relevant medical and personal history is vital for the provision of a tailored nutritional therapy service.  The relationship is a professional one – just as it would be with your GP - and any information you share will remain confidential at all times unless you give specific written permission.

Achieving your personalised dietary changes

  • In most circumstances a series of at least three consultations is recommended in order to ensure that long term support is embedded.  However, individual goal-setting is matched to an appropriate number of consultations or other agreed methods of support such as shopping or cooking advice.
  • Continuation consultations are arranged 3-6 weeks apart.
  • Successful dietary and lifestyle changes are expected to be achieved within 3-9 months of the first consultation, though you may start to feel some benefits within a few weeks.
  • Nutritional therapy is based on long-term strategy and support can be continued on an ad-hoc basis.

Whichever nutritional therapy service you need, and whatever strategy is needed to support your goals, you can be assured of the same level of professionalism, every time, all the time.
